Tschermoschnitz Parish Family Book Records 1813-1835
Transcribed by Barry Deutschmann. The Familienbuch (family records) of Tschermoschnitz Parish is a transcription of the original parish records. This makes all the records readable to those who do not know the German or Latin languages. Twenty-nine villages are included in the parish during this time period. A few villages may have as few as three homes. (For the village of Altsag, the records for houses one through 10 are not in these parish records, but can be found in the Pollandl parish records.) Included are the names of family members of two or three generations who lived in the house. Date of birth of the individual is given, plus the marriage date of the parents, and sometimes, the date of death for some individuals. For parents, their date of birth is usually in the late 1700s. Publication is available in book format or a CD. Postage included in price.
