Annual Conference

GHGA is coming to the New York Treffen!

2023 GHGA Annual Conference
June 3, 2023
“Gottscheers in New York: New Arrivals after World War II”

We are excited to announce that our 2023 GHGA Annual Conference will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Gottscheer Hall in Ridgewood, New York. Our theme this year will be The Resettlement Years – “The Stateless Find a New Home in New York”.  We have several great speakers lined up and look forward to hearing stories of the resettlement.  We also can enjoy activities at our leisure as the conference will be held in conjunction with two other annual Gottscheer events –the 59th Gottscheer Treffen and 75th Gottscheer Volksfest.

Members planning to attend need to register for the GHGA conference. The conference fee is $30 and will include lunch. Preferred payment is through the GHGA PayPal account. When sending payment please note that the payment is for the GHGA Annual Conference and how many you are paying for.

*Any other activities listed below are at additional cost through the Gottscheer Relief Association.

If you have any questions, please contact Elfriede Stonitsch at stonitsel@aol.com or Wendy Walters at GHGAtreas@gmail.com for further information. We hope to see you at this historic event.
